CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Some supporters are using a new poll to set the stage for another possible campaign for mayor by businessman Willie Wilson.
Rags-to-Riches businessman, Wilson placed third, behind Chuy Garcia, in the last mayoral election. And supporter Rev. Ira Acree says a poll by victory research shows the Mayor Rahm Emanuel is vulnerable, which could convince Wilson to run.
CHICAGO (CBS)— Governor Bruce has signed into law legislation that reforms the state’s bail-bond system so that poor people who commit minor offenses don’t languish in jail.
Governor Rauner signed the legislation at Dr. Willie Wilson’s Chicago Baptist Institute International on the South Side.

A number of leaders recently endorsed a proposed bill crafted by former mayoral candidate Dr. Willie Wilson that will help more homeowners who can’t pay their property taxes remain in their homes.
CBS (CHICAGO) — One hundred Chicago area churches are hosting an afternoon of music and prayer to raise funds for needy home owners facing an average 10 percent increase in Cook County property taxes.
Chicago businessman Dr. Willie Wilson bailed out 58 Cook County Jail detainees early in November, including some women who were pregnant and could not make their $50 bond and were in jail awaiting a January court date.
